For our fourth photo assignment, our task was to choose a category and go have a photoshoot. This week, I chose macro. I don't have a macro lens so I decided to use my 85mm 1.8 lens to achieve a very small depth of field in my photos. I really wanted to capture a "Michigan fall" this week so I chose detailed fall items to photograph. Shutter speed- 1/640, Aperture- f/2.0, ISO- 800 ***I did no additional editing for this photo as the colors were fantastic and I didn't want to over-edit*** I had so much fun during this assignment and I think it was a great way to spend my Friday off from school. We had all these items around our house and I think photographing in macro shows the detail of each item. The colors really pop without any editing and I'll for sure do this type of photography in the future!
