For our first photo assignment, our task was to choose a category from a bunch listed and go have a photoshoot. I choose portrait photography because I love to take portrait photos. I scheduled a shoot with one of my friends, Elena, and we went to a super dreamy field around golden hour/sunset. It was super mystical because there was lots of wildflowers and tall grass. It was so hard choosing pictures because I took over 200! Shutter speed- 1/1000, Aperture- f/1.8, ISO- 800 This was the first portrait photoshoot I've done in full manual mode on my camera. But I think my images turned out way better than they would've if I was going fully or even partially auto. Many of the photos that I took during this shoot turned out fantastic, and I think the beautiful location and Elena's modeling are to thank. These photos are going to be a marvelous addition to my portfolio!

Your photos all look really good! They capture the personality of the subject, and they're very pleasing to look at.

I absolutely love all of your photos! They captured Elena's personality really well, and the composition for all of them was really good. One thing in particular I liked about the best photo was that it had a small depth of field, drawing more attention to her.
